Nutritional Science, Applied Nutrition and Food Sciences Concentration, BS (2023-2024) (AS-T Nutrition and Dietetics)


The AS-T in Nutrition and Dietetics guarantees 60 transferable units and the completion of all lower division Core GE. This transfer degree will meet the NUFS 8 , PSYC 1 , one course in General Chemistry, and MICR 20  requirements at SJSU. Students are encouraged to complete two additional courses from BIOL 66 CHEM 30B , or STAT 95  as part of the AS-T degree options; if not completed prior to transfer, they will need to be completed at SJSU after transfer. 

Below is the path to the BS in Nutritional Science, Applied Nutrition and Food Sciences concentration degree in 60 semester units for students who earn the AS-T in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Roadmap Notes


A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division free electives if articulated.
