International Student and Scholar Services

International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) centralizes immigration advising resources and co-curricular support programming for international students and scholars on campus. Our goal is to serve the needs of our international students and scholars and to enhance their experience in the United States and to integrate them into our community, while also contributing to their success during their tenure at SJSU and beyond.

Interdisciplinary Studies BA/BS

The Office of Undergraduate Education sponsors undergraduate degrees as a Interdisciplinary Studies, BA. The Interdisciplinary Studies is designed for situations in which an existing SJSU undergraduate degree major does not adequately accommodate academic professional aims. Students who complete a Interdisciplinary Studies shall be able to demonstrate the characteristics of “intentional learners” who can adapt to new environments, integrate knowledge from different sources, and continue learning throughout their life.
