Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism, and Event Management Concentration, BS (2022-2023) (AS-T Business)


The AS-T in Business guarantees completion of 60 transferable units and all lower division core GE satisfied. This transfer degree will meet the BUS1 20, 21, BUS3 80 and ECON 1A, 1B requirements at SJSU. Transfers will also take three of the following courses: Finite Math, Business Calculus, Statistics, computer skills/Bus info systems, or Intro to Business/Business Comm. We encourage students to complete **HSPM 1, BUS2 90, MATH 71, BUS4 91L and ENGL 2 or 1B prior to transfer as part of their associate degree. ENGL 2 or 1B will not be required if not taken prior to transfer unless the student does not pass the WST.

This major requires grade minimums, please consult with a major advisor.

A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division free electives if articulated.

**Transfers are strongly advised to complete

  prior to transfer to be successful in  . If BUS2 190 is not passed, students will be required to take MATH 71 before they re-enroll in BUS2 190. Transfers are advised to complete ENGL 2 or 1B prior to transfer for the WST. Transfers are also advised to take BUS4 91L prior to transfer. If not taken and it does not fit in the ADT two year roadmap, the student will need to request to have this course waived.
