Sociology, Social Interaction Concentration, BA (2023-2024) (AA-T Sociology)

The AA-T in Sociology guarantees the completion of 60 transferable units and all lower division Core GE. This transfer degree will meet the SOCI 1 requirement at SJSU. We encourage students to complete the SOCI 15 and SOCI 80 equivalencies as part of the AA-T degree options; if not completed prior to transfer, both will need to be completed at SJSU after transfer, as well as the American Institutions requirement .

Roadmap Notes

A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division free electives if articulated.
