SOCI 171 - Person and Society 3 units Analyzes our “self” as socially created and maintained through everyday interactions. Explores how individuals manage and protect self identity in settings, e.g. school, family, work. Effects of race/ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and age on definitions of self and reality.
Prerequisite(s): SOCI 1 or instructor consent. Grading: Letter Graded
