Economics, BA (2022-2023) (AA-T Economics)

The AA-T in Economics guarantees completion of 60 transferable units and all lower division core GE satisfied. This transfer degree will meet the , and requirements at SJSU.
This major requires grades of C- or better in all courses required in the major (core, area courses, and major electives) except , and which require a C or better. Please consult with a major advisor.
Below is the path to the BA Economics degree in 60 semester units with the transfer AA-T Economics degree:

- Writing Skills Test Taken and Passed

2nd Semester (15 units)
- SJSU Studies Area S in US History. meets US1 and Area. If US1 met then a different Area S course. 3 units
- 4 units
- 4 units
- University Electives 2 units
- Physical Education 2 units
3rd Semester (15 units)
- SJSU Studies Area V in US and California Government. meets US2, US3 and Area V. If US2, US3 met then a different Area V course. 3 units

- OR 4 units
- Upper Division ECON ( may not be used) two courses 8 units
Roadmap Notes
A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division free electives if articulated.
