Humanities, Liberal Studies concentration, BA (2022-2023) all AA-T or AS-T degrees (**except AS-T Biology or AS-T Chemistry)

The AA-T or AS-T in ANY degree program (except AS-T Biology or AS-T Chemistry) guarantees the student will transfer with the completion of 60 transferable semester units. Students who earn either of these transfer degrees will meet the 39 units of lower division GE and 21 units of elective credit at SJSU.
Below is the path to the BA Humanities, Concentration in Liberal Arts degree in 60 semester units for students who earn either an AA-T or an AS-T degree:

2nd Semester (18 units)
- SJSU Studies Area S in US History. meets US1 and Area S. If US1 met previously then a different SJSU Studies Area S course. 3 units
- , ; ; AND/OR three courses 9 units
- , , , AND/OR two courses 6 units
3rd Semester (15 units)
- SJSU Studies Area V in US and California Government. meets US2, US3 and Area V. If US2, US3 was met previously then take a different Area V course. 3 units
- , , AND/OR 6 units
- , , , OR 6 units
Roadmap Notes
A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division free electives if articulated. **For students with the Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) in AS-T Biology or AS-T Chemistry - see the two year roadmaps for these AS-T degree programs. |
