English, Professional and Technical Writing concentration, BA (2021-2022) (AA-T English)

The AA-T in English guarantees completion of 60 transferable units and all lower division core GE satisfied. This transfer degree will meet 15 units of lower division English course work required for the BA English, Concentration in Professional & Technical Writing at SJSU.
Below is the path for the BA English, Concentration in Professional and Technical Writing degree in 60 semester units with the transfer AA-T English degree:

- Writing Skills Test Taken and Passed

- 1st Semester Foreign Language course # (or approved ENGL elective if met) 3 units
2nd Semester (17 units)
- US History: . If US1 is met, take approved Upper Division ENGL Elective. 3 units
- SJSU Studies Area V in US and California Government. meets US2, US3 and SJSU Area V. If US2, US3 was met previously take different Area V course. 3 units

- 2nd Semester Foreign Language course # (or approved ENGL elective if met) 4 units

Roadmap Notes
A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division free electives if articulated.
# Students must choose foreign language courses which are 3-4 semester units each to meet this agreement. One year of foreign language study at the college level or equivalency through exam is required for the degree.
