Business Administration, Entrepreneurship Concentration, BS (2020-2021) (AS-T Business)

The AS-T in Business guarantees completion of 60 transferable units and all lower division core GE satisfied. This transfer degree will meet the BUS1 20, BUS1 21, BUS3 80 and ECON 1A, ECON 1B requirements at SJSU. Transfers will also take three of the following courses: Finite Math, Business Calculus, Statistics, computer skills/Bus info systems, or Intro to Business/Business Comm. We encourage students to complete BUS2 90, MATH 71, BUS4 91L and ENGL 2 or ENGL 1B prior to transfer as part of their associate degree. If the WST is not passed, ENGL 2 or ENGL 1B will be required if not taken prior to transfer. This major requires grade minimums, please consult with a major advisor. Below is the path to the BS Business Admin (Entrepreneurship) degree in 60 semester units with the Transfer AS-T Business degree.

- SJSU Studies Area V in US Government and California or a different non-business global perspectives SJSU Studies Area V course if US 2 and US3 is met prior to transfer. POLS 170V meets US2, US3 and Area V 3 units
- Upper Division Business Entrepreneurship Concentration, select one course from BUS1 171B , BUS1 177 ; BUS2 131A , BUS2 131B , BUS2 134C , BUS2 136 ; BUS3 153 , BUS5 146 , BUS5 162 , BUS5 163 , BUS5 165A , BUS5 167 , BUS5 169B 3 units
- BUS5 140 - Fundamentals of Operations Management 3 units
- Upper Division Business Entrepreneurship Concentration BUS5 182 - Business Plans for New Ventures 3 units

Roadmap Notes
A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division free electives if articulated. Transfers are strongly advised to complete MATH 71 prior to transfer to be successful in BUS2 190. If BUS2 190 is not passed, students will be required to take MATH 71 before they re-enroll in BUS2 190. Transfers are advised to complete ENGL 2 or ENGL 1B prior to transfer in preparation for the WST. Transfers are also advised to take BUS4 91L prior to transfer. |
