Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Roadmaps by College

The following roadmap is a sample advising map to complete the degree program in four years. Please consult your MyPlanner and major advisor as you develop your individualized academic plan. Students must have completed 60+ units in order to enroll in GE UD courses.

*Courses marked with an asterisk may be taken in a different semester than listed.

This program is tailored to the specific admitted student. Not all students will be able to transfer in the required 39 units of GE courses. Some of those constitute the preparation for the major. Transfer students can complete their GE required as preparation for the major at SJSU, provided they can transfer in a minimum of 60 units to enroll in GE UD courses.

Year 1-2

Transfer Credits: This roadmap assumes transfer credits satisfy the 34 units of General Education and 20 units of Major Preparation. 30 Units are transferred as a block to account for Airframes and Powerplants (A&P) coursework. See Aviation advisor to plan for what GE courses to take prior to transfer to SJSU. In order to complete this option, a student must complete an AS-level FAA-approved maintenance programs at an accredited community college, prior to beginning upper division coursework. See http://avtech.sjsu.edu/department for more information.
