Prerequisite(s): MATH 18A or MATH 19 with a grade of B or better. A satisfactory score on the Precalculus Proficiency Assessment, or SAT Math score of 570+, or ACT Math score of 23+ waives this prerequisite.
Corequisite(s): MATH 71W for students with MATH 18A or MATH 19 with a grade of B- or lower, or a satisfactory score on the Precalculus Proficiency Assessment, or students who are repeating MATH 71.
Grading: Letter Graded

Note(s): A grade of C- (1.7) or better is required to satisfy GE Area B4.
