Chemistry with a 12 unit Minor, BA (2021-2022) (AS-T Chemistry)

The AS-T in Chemistry guarantees completion of 60 transferable units and may use the IGETC for STEM (all lower division core GE satisfied except for one course in Area C and one course in Area D. This transfer degree will meet the CHEM 1A, 1B; PHYS 50, 51; MATH 30, 31; and CHEM 112A, 112B, 113A (for content credit only) requirements at SJSU.
Note: Any course that is prerequisite to any Chemistry course must be passed with a grade of “C or better” (C- not accepted).
Below is the path to the BA Chemistry (with a 12 unit minor) degree in 60 semester units with the transfer AS-T Chemistry degree:

Roadmap Notes
A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division free electives if articulated.
