Behavioral Science, BA (2021-2022) (AA-T Global Studies or AA-T Social Justice Studies)

The AA-T in Global Studies or AA-T in Social Justice Studies guarantees the student will transfer with the completion of 60 transferable semester units. Students who earn either of these transfer degrees will meet the 39 units of lower division GE and 21 units of elective credit at SJSU.
This roadmap has an approved P.E. waiver.
Below is the path to the BA Behavioral Science degree in 60 semester units for students who earns either the AA-T in Global Studies or AA-T in Social Justice Studies:

- Upper Division Anthropology, may include OR 3 units
3rd Semester (15 units)
- SJSU Studies Area V in US and California Government. meets US2, US3 and Area V (or a different SJSU Studies Area V if US2, US3 has been meet) 3 units
- Upper Division Psychology, may include 3 units
- Upper Division Psychology, may include 3 units
- Upper Division Sociology, may include 3 units
- Upper Division Sociology, may include 3 units
4th Semester (15 units)
- , OR 3 units
- 3 units
- Lower or Upper Division Psychology Methods may include or 3 units
- Upper Division Anthropology, Psychology or Sociology Emphasis, both courses approved by advisor 6 units
Roadmap Notes
A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Students may take their Anthropology, Psychology and Sociology major classes in any of their semesters at SJSU. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division electives if articulated.
Students must complete at least one of the following courses: ANTH 149, ANTH 165, PSYC 18, PSYCH 120, or SOCI 104. A three-unit maximum of individual studies may be used to meet the degree requirements.
