Forensic Science, Biology Concentration, BS (2019-2020) (AS-T Chemistry)

The AS-T in Chemistry guarantees completion of 60 transferable units and may use the IGETC for STEM (^all lower division core GE satisfied except one course in C and one course in D). This transfer degree will meet the CHEM 1A, 1B, 112A+112B+113A (content credit only); PHYS 50, 51 (in substitute of PHYS 2A+2B for this major); MATH 30 and 31 requirements at SJSU.

Roadmap Notes

A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division major and lower division free electives if articulated.

^ FS 160 will substitute for FS 161 only if student enters SJSU with an IGETC for STEM missing 3 units in GE area C and 3 units in GE area D (or has not transferred with additional lower division course work).

Students will need to take Upper Division Area C, Area D and Statistics in order to meet the *minimum of 40 upper division units needed for degree.
