Environmental Studies with a 12 unit minor, BS (2024-2025) (AS-T Environmental Studies)

The AS-T in Environmental Studies guarantees completion of 60 transferable units. Students may use the IGETC for STEM General Education (GE) pattern that will meet all lower division GE except for one course in Area C and one course in Area D. The AS-T in Environmental Studies will meet the BIOL 30 , ENVS 1 , ENVS 10 (or other GE Area B2 ), CHEM 1A , PHYS 2A , STAT 95 , and MATH 19 requirements for the BS in Environmental Studies degree at SJSU.

Below is the path to the BS in Environmental Studies degree (with a 12-unit minor) in 60 semester units for students who earn the AS-T in Environmental Studies.

A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division free electives if articulated.
