EDTE 294 - Research/Practices in Health and Special Education 3 units Introduces students to issues in health and special education that are necessary for them to know and be able to meet their legal and professional responsibilities. The course includes identifying, referring, and supporting students who may be at risk of health problems and have special needs. Students will also learn about effective instruction in health and special education content and skill development and how to create and support a safe and healthy environment for learning for all students.
Prerequisite(s): Upper division or Graduate standing. Grading: Letter Graded
