ME 106 - Fundamentals of Mechatronics Engineering 4 units Foundational concepts in mechatronics including analog and digital electronics, sensors, actuators, microprocessors and microprocessor interfacing to electromechanical systems. Hands-on laboratory experiments with components and measurement equipment used in the design of mechatronic products.
Lecture 2 hours/Lab 3 hours.
Prerequisite(s): EE 98 and ME 30 (or CS 49C or EE 30 or CMPE 30 or their equivalents) (each with a grade of “C-” or better ). For Engineering Technology majors: TECH 60 and MATH 71 or MATH 71X (each with a grade of ‘C-’ or better). Grading: Letter Graded
