CE 95 - Theory and Application of Statics 3 units Detailed study of bodies in equilibrium to provide background for advanced study of engineering mechanics. Applications to general three-dimensional bodies and structural systems. Topics include free body diagrams, centroids, internal forces, distributed loads, moments of inertia and friction.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 31X or MATH 31, and PHYS 50. Grading: Letter Graded
