Interdisciplinary Studies BA/BSThe Office of Undergraduate Education sponsors undergraduate degrees as an Interdisciplinary Studies, BA or BS. The Interdisciplinary Studies is designed for situations in which an existing SJSU undergraduate degree major does not adequately accommodate academic professional aims. Students who complete Interdisciplinary Studies shall be able to demonstrate the characteristics of “intentional learners” who can adapt to new environments, integrate knowledge from different sources, and continue learning throughout their life.

Undeclared: Exploratory Student Success CenterThe Exploratory Student Success Center, formerly Undergraduate Advising & Success Center (UASC), provides advising to undeclared students. Transition advising is provided by this office through Frosh and Transfer Orientations. Advising Hub website is meant to serve as a resource for all undergraduate students to aid in student success. As the name suggests, it’s at the center of many advising and academic support services available at SJSU.
