Roadmap: Economics, BS (AS-T Business Administration 2.0)

The AS-T in Business 2.0 guarantees 60 transferable units and the completion of all lower division Core GE. This transfer degree will meet the ECON 1A , ECON 1B , and **STAT 95 requirements at SJSU.

Below is the path to the BS in Economics degree in 60 semester units for students who earn the AS-T in Business 2.0. This major requires grades of “C-” or better in ALL courses required in the major (core courses and major electives), except ECON 100W , MATH 30 , and STAT 95 which requires a “C” or better. Please consult with a major advisor.

Roadmap Notes

A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division free electives if articulated.

** Students must pass the following courses with a “C” or better: STAT 95 , ECON 100W , and MATH 30 . Additionally, students pursuing a specialization in Data Analytics must complete two courses from: ECON 138 , ECON 166 , ECON 195 , or ECON 197 , and must also complete 16 units of 100-level economics electives (excluding ECON 109 ).
