Satisfies 2. Mathematical Concepts and Quantitative Reasoning (Formerly Area B4).
Prerequisite(s): Math Enrollment Category M-I or M-II and satisfactory score on the Precalculus Proficiency Assessment; MATH 19 with a grade of C- or better to waive the exam; or MATH 18A and MATH 18B , with a grade of C- or better in each to waive the exam. Corequisite(s): MATH 30W for students with satisfactory score on the Precalculus Proficiency Assessment or MATH 19 with a grade of B- or lower or MATH 18A and MATH 18B with a grade of B- or lower or students who are repeating MATH 30. Grading: Letter Graded
