The AA-T in Music guarantees 60 transferable units and the completion of all lower division Core GE. This transfer degree will also clear up to 16 units of lower division Music coursework and substitute four units for content credit only. The 120 units for the BA in Music degree will include: transfer courses approved for MUSC 1A , MUSC 1B , MUSC 2A , MUSC 2B , MUSC 3A , MUSC 3B , MUSC 4A , MUSC 4B , and MUSC 9 , the substitution of four units of Applied Lessons and four units of Ensembles (for content credit only), and 60 units taken at SJSU.

Below is the path to the BA in Music degree in 60 semester units for students who earn the AA-T in Music. All major core and major preparation courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better.
