Economics, BA (2020-2021) (AS-T Business Administration)

The AS-T in Business guarantees completion of 60 transferable units and all lower division core GE satisfied. This transfer degree will meet the ECON 1A, ECON 1B, and possibly statistics requirements at SJSU. This major requires grades of C- or better in all courses required in the major (core, area courses, and major electives) except 100W, MATH 30 or MATH 71 which require a C or better grade. Please consult with a major advisor. Below is the path to the BA Economics degree in 60 semester units with the transfer AS-T Business degree:

- SJSU Studies Area S in US History. meets US1 and Area S. If US1 was met previously then take a different SJSU Studies Area S course. 3 units

3rd Semester (15 units)
- SJSU Studies Area V in US and California Government. meets US2, US3 and Area V. If US2,US3 was met previously then take a different Area V course 3 units
- Upper Division ECON course, except ECON 109 4 units
- Upper Division ECON course, except ECON 109 4 units
- Upper Division ECON course, except ECON 109 4 units
4th Semester (15 units)
- SJSU Studies Area R 3 units
- Upper Division ECON course, except ECON 109 4 units
- Upper Division ECON course, except ECON 109 4 units

Roadmap Notes
A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division free electives if articulated.
