Radio-Television-Film, BA (2024-2025) (AS-T Film, Television and Electronic Media)

The AS-T in Film, Television and Electronic Media guarantees 60 transferable units and the completion of all lower division Core GE. This transfer degree will meet the RTVF 20 and RTVF 30 major requirements at SJSU.

We strongly encourage students to complete courses which clear the American Institutions requirement and 2nd semester/quarter of English composition as part of their CSU GE or IGETC, and additionally, as many of the following courses required for the AA-T degree, such as: RTVF 10 , RTVF 31 , RTVF 80 , and RTVF 82 . If these courses are not completed prior to transfer, SJSU will advise on the 60 units to be taken at SJSU accordingly.

A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division free electives if articulated.
