Forensic Science, Chemistry Concentration, BS (2024-2025) (AS-T Chemistry)

The AS-T in Chemistry guarantees completion of 60 transferable units. Students may use the IGETC for STEM General Education (GE) pattern that will meet all lower division GE except for one course in Area C and one course in Area D. This transfer degree will meet the CHEM 1A , CHEM 1B , CHEM 112A + CHEM 112B + CHEM 113A (content credit only); PHYS 50 , PHYS 51 (in substitution of PHYS 2A + PHYS 2B for this major); and MATH 30 , MATH 31 requirements at SJSU.
Below is the path to the BS in Forensic Science, Chemistry concentration degree in 60 semester units for students who earn the AS-T in Chemistry.
This roadmap has an approved P.E. waiver.

Roadmap Notes
A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division major and lower division free electives if articulated.
