Concepts and care related to adult medical-surgical clients in the acute care setting. Systems approach integrates human responses to alterations in physiological functioning related to disorders of the musculoskeletal, neurological, gastrointestinal, integumentary, endocrine systems and oncologic disorders.

Prerequisite(s): NURS 32, NURS 161, NURS 164B, NURS 165A, and NURS 165B.
Corequisite(s): NURS 167B.
