Concepts and principles of medical microbiology, emphasizing the biology of host-parasite interactions and mechanisms of infectious disease pathogenesis.

Prerequisite(s): MICR 101, BIOL 107 (with a grade of “C” or better in each); CHEM 112A or CHEM 8, (with a grade of “C” or better in each); or instructor consent. Must be a declared Biology Major (all).
