ART 132 - Topics in Intermediate Ceramics


3 units
Investigation of ceramic form and surface design with emphasis on the vessel. Development of skills on the potter’s wheel and in glazing, kiln loading and firing. Included are raku, salt, earthenware, stoneware and porcelain. Repeatable for up to 9 units of credit when course topic changes.

Misc/Activity: 6 hours activity

Course may be repeated for credit for up to 9 units.

Prerequisite(s): ART 46 or instructor consent
Grading: Letter Graded
