AE 267 - Space Propulsion Systems 3 units Rocket propulsion fundamentals. propulsion requirements for: multi-stage launch; orbit establishment, maneuvers and maintenance; spacecraft attitude control. Nozzle flow, thermochemical calculation of performance. Design and performance calculations for systems and components of chemical rockets (liquid, solid, hybrid), electric rockets and advanced concepts.
Prerequisite(s): BS in Aerospace Engineering or BS in Mechanical Engineering or instructor consent. Grading: Letter Graded
