GEOL 132 - Planetary Geology 3 units Study of the surfaces and atmospheres of planetary bodies in the solar system, focusing on comparative planetology and geological processes at work. Topics include planetary differentiation, impact cratering, tectonics, volcanism, and geomorphic evolution. Explores terrestrial and gas giant planets and their moons.
Prerequisite(s): GEOL 1 or GEOL 3, or instructor consent. Grading: Letter Graded
