* Either 5A or 5B must be taken with a 5C - Laboratory .

All Journalism majors must have at least 72 units outside of the major (65 out of the 72 units must be in Liberal Arts/Social Science/Science). All Journalism majors must do a 240-hour internship and approval is needed to sign up for MCOM 111 - Mass Communications Internship . This can be done any semester or during the summer or winter sessions. JMC ELECTIVE: any JMC course that is not already required for the Journalism major.
