The BA - Mathematics, offered by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics , is recommended for students who enjoy problem solving and would like to apply problem solving skills along with communication and analyzing skills in a future career. This degree also provides an excellent background for graduate work in mathematics and other disciplines including law and medicine as well as engineering and science.

Major-Specific Graduation Requirements
All courses in the Preparation and Required in the Major must be completed with a grade of “C- or better”, and the following Preparation for the Major course with a grade of “C or better”: 100W.
