Behavioral Science, BA (2020-2021) (AA-T Anthropology)

The AA-T in Anthropology guarantees completion of 60 transferable units and all lower division core GE satisfied. This transfer degree will meet the ANTH 11, 12 and 13 course requirements at SJSU. Below is the path to the BA Behavioral Science degree in 60 semester units with the transfer AA-T Anthropology degree.

- Writing Skills Test (WST) - Taken and Passed

- , OR SOCI 102 - Introduction to Statistics 3 units
- Major 100W course , OR 3 units
- University Elective - Lower or Upper Division 1 unit
- Physical Education 2 units
2nd Semester (15 units)
- SJSU Studies Area R course 3 units
- SJSU Studies Area S in US History. meets US1 and Area S. If US1 was previously then take a different Area S course. 3 units
- SJSU Studies Area V in US & California Government. meets US2, US3 and Area V. If US2,US3 was met previously then take a different Area V course 3 units
- ANTH Upper Division courses may include AND 6 units
3rd Semester (15 units)
- PSYC Upper Division courses may include 6 units
- PSYC Lower or Upper Division may include OR 3 units
- SOCI Upper Division may include 3 units
Roadmap Notes
A minimum of 40 upper division units must be completed for degree. This roadmap is a sample pathway. Behavior Science students may take their Anthropology, Psychology and Sociology major classes in any of their semesters at SJSU. Check with a major advisor regarding the most appropriate course sequence for you. 60 units minimum will be transferred with this degree, however up to 70 transfer units can be applied to the lower division and lower division electives if articulated.
