Supports the development of students¿ clinical counseling knowledge and skills while providing supervision of their clinical counseling fieldwork experience. Emphasizes student exploration of theory, personal awareness, and use of counseling skills and interventions. Focuses on the development of skills related to diagnosis, treatment planning, client conceptualization, advanced psychotherapeutic techniques, issues of adjustment/maladjustment, and health and wellness promotion.

Course may be repeated for credit for up to 9 units.
