PHYS 201 - Pedagogy for Graduate Teaching Assistants 2 unit(s) Course helps graduate students (especially current and future Graduate Teaching Assistants, GTAs) integrate educational theory, pedagogy, content, and practice. Through examination of research on physics teaching and learning, we will gain a deeper understanding of how people learn. We will connect current research in educational theory to practical concerns related to teaching. Course will primarily focus on physics education research, but is designed to be useful for graduate TAs across a variety of STEM disciplines and teaching contexts.
Prerequisite(s): Senior or Graduate Standing or Instructor Consent. Grading: Letter Graded
