MCOM 102 - Sound Culture, Society & Mass Communications 3 unit(s) Focus on the historical impact of sound culture and its relationship to society. Students will be introduced to critical theories and forces that shape sound in our life, creating a sense of sound culture and identity in society, which is often (mis)interpreted within the larger field of mass communications. Course will introduce students to the significance of sound culture in their everyday life and in the media on which they rely.
