Exploration of the planning, communication, organizational structure, and practices of stage management. Topics include responsibility, communication, audition and rehearsal supervision, audience services coordination, working relationships with performance and production staff, and the health and safety issues for performers and technical staff.

Lecture 2 hours/lab 1 hour.
