Development of advanced writing skills in the field of child and adolescent development, with a focus on the development of scientific, professional, analytic, and persuasive writing styles. Students will learn to use writing to clearly convey ideas to specialized and general audiences.

Satisfies Writing in the Disciplines (WID).

Prerequisite(s): Upper division standing and completion of GE Area 1B, ENGL 1B, HUM 2B, or equivalent with a C- or better. Or Graduate/Postbaccalaureate standing.

Grading: Letter Graded

Note(s): Must be passed with C or better to satisfy the CSU Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR).
