Broad overview of engineering management theory and practice across geographically distributed operations with differing cultural perspectives, including: management’s roles, responsibilities, skills, strategy and planning; management systems, human resource management, problem solving and decision-making; engineering ethics.

Satisfies SJSU Studies V: Cultures and Global Understanding.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of Core General Education, and upper-division standing are prerequisites to all SJSU studies courses. Completion of, or co-registration in, 100W is strongly recommended.
