Taxonomic relations and classification of ferns, conifers and flowering plants, with practice in their collection and identification. Selected techniques of cytotaxonomy, chemotoxonomy, palynology and numerical taxonomy.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 115 or BIOL 118 (with a grade of C or better). Must be a declared major in Biological Sciences; other majors with instructor consent.
