ANTH 156 - Bioarchaeology 3 units Study of human skeletal remains from archaeological setting to aid in reconstructing the biological and cultural past. Current theoretical and methodological issues in bioarchaeology. Emphasis on potential of skeletal analysis for uncovering disease and trauma, subsistence patterns, biological relatedness, physical activity and diverse reactions to stressors.
