PHYS 250 - Quantum Programming 3 units Introduction to quantum algorithms and programming a quantum computer. Includes a review of relevant quantum mechanical concepts, topics from linear algebra and complex numbers, spins and qubits, quantum gates and circuits, entanglement, quantum algorithms, such as Deutsch-Jozsa, Grover, quantum Fourier transforms.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing, or PHYS 163 and instructor approval. Grading: Letter graded.
