Psychology, BA (SJSU Online)

Fully Online Degree Completion Program

The mission of SJSU Online is to expand access to higher education and degree attainment for learners who require a fully online degree pathway. This upper-division degree-completion program is offered through a special sesssion that requires a separate application.

The undergraduate degree offered by the Department of Psychology  assures a broad coverage of the major areas of content and methods in psychology identified by the American Psychological Association as the backbone of a strong degree program. The breadth part of the degree requirements aims to provide a strong background in general psychology. In addition, sufficient flexibility is offered through choices in fulfilling these requirements and through the electives so that students, in consultation with their advisors, can design a program of study that focuses on each student’s particular area of interest.

Program Delivery

The program is delivered completely online. Classes will be delivered fully online, both asynchronously (no designated days/times) and synchronously (designated days/times).

Program Roadmaps

The 2-Year Roadmap are available online. Roadmaps should be used in consultation with the catalog and your advisor to identify additional requirements for completing the major (e.g., minimum course grades).
