Introduction to the technical and economic evaluation of a chemical processing plant design. Introduction to project design and effective team management. First of a two-course sequence.

Lecture 1 hour/Lab 3 hours.

Course may be repeated for credit for up to 6 units.

Corequisite(s): CHE 158, CHE 161L, and CHE 160B; or instructor consent.
Grading: Letter Graded.

Note(s): Note(s): CHE 165A and CHE 165B must be completed consecutively in the same academic year.
