CHE 160B - Mass Transfer and Separation Processes 4 unit(s) Continuation of CHE 160A. Mass transfer operations, diffusion, absorption, extraction, distillation, humidification, membrane separations, drying and crystallization. Field trips to process industries. Integrate global and social issues in engineering.
Discussion 3 hours/ Lab 3 hours.
Prerequisite(s): Complete the ChE Sophomore and Junior Core courses (CHE 115 , CHE 151 , CHE 160A , CHE 162 , CHE 190 ) with a grade of C- or better in each and a minimum GPA of 2.0 in these courses. ENGR 100W with a grade of C or better. Grading: Letter Graded
