MATE 150 - Introduction to Computational Materials Engineering 3 unit(s) Introduction to some of the methods used in computational materials science and engineering, including calculating atomic, molecular and solid-state properties of materials. Utilizes the quantum chemistry and solid state softwares such as Gaussian, Quantum Espresso and various analysis tools and visualization softwares. Introduction and discussion of computational techniques and their applicability.
