CHAD 76 - Child Development Among Media and Emerging Technologies 3 unit(s) Introduction to research on how the changing media landscape interacts with cultural context to influence child and adolescent behavior and development as well as family functioning. Students evaluate the risks and benefits of engagement with varied types of media at each period of development, make recommendations for ethical policy and practice, and propose new ideas for leveraging emerging technologies to enhance developmental supports for children and families.
