COMM 186I - Research Methods in Health Communication Comprehensive overview of research methods in health communication as a discipline and professional practice including social scientific, observational, narrative, meta-analytic, rhetorical, and critical methods. Explorations of the unique ethical responsibilities of health communication researchers as well as various processes of research design and data collection, practices of analysis, and tools for academic and professional writing.
Prerequisite(s): Upper division standing (60 units completed) or instructor consent. Grading: Letter Graded
