KIN 173 - Introduction to Teaching Physical Education and Non-Traditional Sports 3 unit(s) This course will introduce future physical educators to the profession of teaching and will include philosophies, ethics, and standards for teaching, legal and current issues, learning-communities, inclusion of non-traditional and global games and sport activities, and observations of effective teaching.
Lecture 3 hour/Lab 3 hours.
Prerequisite(s): KIN 70 for majors/minors only or instructor consent or concurrent enrollment; KIN 171A . Corequisite(s): KIN 170B . Grading: Letter Graded
