GEOG 275 - Geographic Information Systems Project Development & Project Management 3 unit(s) (formerly GEOG 286) Creation of geographic information system databases and application software to solve specific problems in such areas as resource and facilities management, demographic analysis and planning.
Principles of project management applied to geographic information systems projects. Requirements assessment, estimating, scheduling, system design, and acceptance testing. Students will negotiate, plan and execute projects for outside agencies.
